ICBA Takes Part in Lighting of Cranes for Grey Cup
Vancouver, B.C. – The Independent Contractors and Businesses Association of BC participated in the official Grey Cup “lighting of the cranes” ceremony that took place this past Tuesday. The cranes, lined up around BC Place Stadium, sight of the 2005 Grey Cup, were lit up with “Grey Cup 05” and marked the beginning of the CFL’s Party on the Pacific that will bring special concerts, street parties and various family events to the city.
“We were more than happy to help illustrate the BC construction industry’s support for this national event,” said ICBA President Philip Hochstein.
ICBA was instrumental in coordinating the creation of the signs and working with Concord Pacific to have them placed on their projects located near BC Place and the Grey Cup parade route.
