Burnaby, BC – Staff members of the Independent Contractors and Businesses Association of BC (ICBA) have successfully raised $1,715 for Big Brothers as part of The Bowl for Big Brothers Classic.

The ICBA team of bowlers, dubbed “Dolls with Balls”, joined other teams for a night of bowling at Revs’ bowling alley in Burnaby on March 7.

“It’s always nice for ICBA to give back to the community, in this case Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver. We are proud that our team raised $1,715, beating our goal of $1,500, for this worthwhile organization,” commented Philip Hochstein, ICBA President.

The bowl-a-thon is still taking place and has already raised $500,000 in pledges. Proceeds go towards supporting the Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver mentoring programs.
