ICBA Commentary: Major Projects Inventory

Vancouver, B.C. – The Independent Contractors and Businesses Association (ICBA) offered the following commentary on today's release of the B.C. Major Projects Inventory.

“It’s encouraging to see an increase in the number of capital projects being proposed or planned in the province,” said Philip Hochstein, President of ICBA. “The major projects inventory figures are important because they show there is confidence in B.C. long after the Olympics.”

Hochstein added that the major projects inventory shows strong activity around the province. “Construction activity is particularly strong in Greater Victoria, Metro Vancouver and the Okanagan,” he said.
